What are The Keys?
There are six Keys. Each one of them is a key point in the preparation. The first five each consist of a presentation by Maharaji and up to 12 hours of supporting DVD material. Watching these DVDs helps a person develop the proper understanding before being taught the techniques of Knowledge.
Key Six is shown during a special session in which Maharaji teaches the techniques of Knowledge via a DVD presentation. Such sessions take place throughout the year all over the world.
If I am interested in these techniques, what can I do next?
There is a period of preparation involved to help a person develop the proper understanding before being taught these techniques.
To help in the preparation process, Maharaji has produced DVDs called "The Keys."
If you are interested, the next step is to watch the DVD,"An Introduction to The Keys," where Maharaji talks about the preparation process: what it involves and how to make the most of it.
Will anything be asked of me if I decide to pursue this?
People who wish to pursue Knowledge are asked to carefully consider what is being offered, to develop their own understanding, and to decide for themselves if it is something they truly want.
To start preparing for Knowledge, people must be 18 years old, of legal age in their country, and willing to agree to the terms and conditions regarding use of the Keys. These terms and conditions are presented when applying for access to the Keys.
In Key Six, during the session where the techniques of Knowledge are taught, Maharaji asks for three promises: to give the practice of Knowledge a fair chance; to keep in touch with him for inspiration and guidance; and not to reveal the techniques to anyone, so that each interested individual has their own chance to go through the preparation process.
Will I be asked to join something?
Pursuing Knowledge is an individual, personal journey. There is no group, movement, or organization to join.
What is Maharaji's role during the preparation process and afterwards?
He introduces the possibility of finding peace within and offers a practical way of doing so. He offers inspiration and guidance throughout the preparation process and after a person learns the techniques of Knowledge.
How is the production of these Keys paid for?
The cost of producing the Keys is covered by the contributions of people who support Maharaji's efforts to make his message widely available. The preparation process and the session where the techniques are taught are free of charge. Knowledge is a gift from Maharaji.
The Keys are distributed around the world by various nonprofit organizations, formal and informal, staffed mainly by volunteers. The Keys are not sold, and neither Maharaji nor the organizations supporting his work receive a financial benefit from their distribution. There is no charge for the Keys or the preparation process. In some areas, a shipping and handling fee and a deposit may apply.
Is there a charge for viewing the Keys and receiving Knowledge?
There is no charge for the Keys DVDs or for the Knowledge session. The Keys are available on a loan basis. Shipping and handling charges and a deposit may apply.
The costs of producing the Keys are met by the voluntary contributions of people who appreciate Maharaji's message.
Knowledge is a gift from Maharaji and is offered free of charge.
How do I ask for Knowledge?
When you have watched the first five Keys, and if you are clear that this is what you would like, you may send a request to Maharaji to be taught the techniques of Knowledge. Information on how to do this will be provided with Key Five.
You will receive an invitation to attend a special session where Key Six will be shown. In Key Six, Maharaji teaches the techniques of Knowledge through a DVD presentation. Knowledge sessions are held regularly in many locations around the world.
I feel ready to learn the techniques of Knowledge now. Do I still need to watch the Keys?
Yes. If you want to learn the techniques, you will need to watch DVDs of Maharaji addressing key points in the preparation. After viewing the Keys DVDs, you will be able to ask to be taught the techniques of Knowledge.
